Thanks for Rescue

Psalm 107:1-9

Introduction (v. 1-3)

• “Oh, give thanks”
• “He is good”
• “His mercy – forever”
• “Redeemed”

No Shelter (v. 4)

• Homeless
• Wandering
• Searching

The Lord rescues the wanderer.

No Sustenance (v. 5)

• Hungry
• Thirsty
• Purposeless

The Lord feeds the hungry.

Nonetheless Saved (v.6-7)

• A cry heard
• The lost found
• Shelter given

The Lord delivers the distressed.

 “Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love; Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above.”
