Greater Than All
John 5:1-15
“But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.” (John 5:36)
What makes Jesus greater than all?
“… I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; (John 5:7)
- A Greater Work. (5:17-24)
- Equal Nature with God. (v. 17-18)
- Equal Power with God. (v. 19-21)
- Equal Authority with God. (v. 22-24)
“Jesus said to him, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk.’” (John 5:8)

- He Controls Judgement. (v. 27)
- He Controls Resurrection. (v.28-29)
“The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.” (John 5:15)

- He had the Witness of John the Baptist. (v. 33-35)
- He was Witnessed through His works. (v. 36)
- He has the Witness of the Father. (v. 37-38)
- He has the Witness of the Scriptures. (v. 39-47)
