Father’s Day
Today we celebrate fathers.
Fathers, how much faith do you put in Jesus to take care of your children?
- A FATHER (v. 46)
- “A certain nobleman…”
- A king’s man.
- A sick son.
- A FATHER WHO SEEKS JESUS (v. 47)
- Jesus is in Cana.
- 8-hour trip.
- “Implored” Him to come down and heal his son…”
- A FATHER WHO IS POWERLESS (v. 48-49)
- A man of power, powerless.
- “Unless you people see signs and wonders…”
- “…come down before my boy dies.”
- A FATHER WHO BELIEVES (v. 50-53)
- “Go.”
- A long-distance miracle.
- “So, the man believed…”
- A FATHER WITH FAITH
- Canaanite mother and her possessed daughter. (Matthew 15:28)
- Feeding the 5000. (John 6:1-15)
- Healing of Naaman. (1 Kings 5)
- We see this nobleman’s faith increase.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1)
