“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.” (Revelation 12:7-8)
Satan cannot compete with God.
He’s been losing since he decided to try to take over heaven and that’s not changing anytime soon. God not only knows this truth but He operates in it. When Satan, in the form of a dragon, and one third of the angels tried to overtake heaven God did not move an inch. He was not worried, He didn’t feel the least bit threatened, and He did not panic at all. In fact, He already knew the plots of Satan before they came to pass and He was already 10 steps ahead of him.
The scripture shows that it was the archangel Michael and his angels that fought Satan. God appointed all the power to His angels to fight on his behalf and defeat the enemy. They succeeded then on the Lord’s behalf, and they are succeeding now on yours.
As a child of God you are surrounded by angels fighting the principalities of evil for you. They hold all the power to remain victorious over any attack of the enemy. This is the type of truth you are called to operate in (Ephesians 6:12). Understand that when Jesus was raised from the dead you were raised with Him. Given authority over the earth to be above and not beneath. The head and not the tail.
Through Him we are victorious and not victims.
It’s only through Christ that we can hold on to this truth. Don’t come down to Satan’s level and try to beat him with your flesh. Instead, by faith, walk in God’s protection and claim victory over every plot the devil throws your way. Be bold in Christ with the utmost confidence knowing that the enemy is already defeated.
Don’t let the devil trick you into thinking that he is worth your time. Focus on God and what He has called you to and allow the angels to continually fight for you. Live the life that God has called you to.
