Bro. Jay started serving at Slackland Baptist Church in October 2024. He and his wife Dana have 2 adult children, Delaney and Joey. Jay is originally from Prattville, Alabama where he surrendered to God’s ministry in 2013. He has served in ministry as a deacon, lay pastor, men’s pastor, and volunteer church staff member. He is a graduate of Liberty University School of Divinity and holds a BS in Religion: Biblical & Theological Studies. Jay comes to Slackland as his first pastorate and is blessed to be able serve the Lord and His people.
