Good News!

(Romans 3:20-23)

• God’s acceptance cannot be earned by observing the law.
  • “Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight…” (Romans 3:20)
• The purpose of the law is to show our need for a Savior.
  • “…for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” (Romans 3:20)
    • Without seeing ourselves as sinners, there is no need for a Savior.
•  We’re made right with God by faith in Christ.
  • “even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;” (Romans 3:22)
  • “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
